Tucson Summer Pro League Championship/Slam Dunk 2008

The Tucson Summer Pro League wrapped up another successful season with some high flying diversions and a three point contest….oh, and a Championship game between the first place Powerade team and the second place Moore Law Firm squad. The Powerade team, led by Donte Williams 31 points and 7 rebounds, took the title by putting League MVP Corey Starks Moore Law Firm away in the final minute 93-89.

Tucson Summer Pro League July 6th 2008

The Tucson Summer Pro League was in full swing over the summer in a new venue¬†with lots of hoop talent on display. The league, formed by former UofA player Corey Williams, moved from St. Gregory’s and set up shop in the Northwest Center. The center is located at 2160 N. 6th Ave and is more centrally located for all B-ball fans. The league is sanctioned by the NCAA and allows collegiate and high school players to participate alongside NBA players and other top athletes.

Arizona Football – Can’t wait for ‘08

Will this be the season? I Just can’t feel the “buzz” over the football program. It’s more like let’s just get on with it. Sure would be great to go bowling….Junior Willie Tuitama is one of the highest rated quarterbacks in the country, but will that translate into wins for the UofA?
